Good grief, when will blogs and other websites standardise on Previous/Next page buttons’ wording (previous/back/earlier/etc(, meaning (back in archives or forward in archives) and position (right being forward or left?.
“back” and “forward” seem to be ambigious when browsing archives. “forward” can mean go forward in browsing the archive, or time.
